Maggie Faulkner is the owner and head trainer of Ironstone Barbell. Born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, She opened her own training facility in 2018. With a background in various sports, she took her endeavors to various types of training to become a more well round trainer, all while maintaining a large focus on functional fitness.
With her unique approach to training, she incorporates the conjugate method developed by Louie Simmons to help bring her athletes and clients to their full potential.
Maggie Faulkner is a nationally ranked bodybuilder, Pennsylvania State figure champion, world record holder in powerlifting, and certified strength and conditioning coach.
With seven years of experience as a certified Westside Barbell trainer, I have had the privilege of working with high-level athletes from around the world. My focus is on sports performance, where I specialize in helping athletes improve their speed, strength, and explosiveness to elevate their game.
As a former two-sport athlete at Shippensburg University, I excelled in both football and track and field, earning All-American honors twice and setting a school record with a personal high jump of 2.18 meters. These experiences have shaped my approach to training, as I understand the demands of competing at a high level firsthand.
My goal is to help athletes not only build physical strength but also develop the mental resilience needed to succeed in their sport. Using proven methods I've learned over the past seven years, I am committed to pushing each athlete to reach their full potential. Let's work together to unlock your highest level of performance.
Joanne is a professional Strongwoman competitor with 12+ years of weight training. She has multiple state records in deadlift and axle press in Pennsylvania and Delaware and is also a full time Certified Physician Assistant.
Her experience is in strength training, including: Powerlifting, CrossFit, Olympic Lifting and Strongman as well as nutrition and water cuts for men or women of any and all levels of experience.
Our 1-on-1 intro to fitness sessions help get you started on your fitness journey, no matter where you are! The sessions are personalized for each individual based on their needs and goals. We focus on teaching each individual proper form, use of equipment, and how to navigate the gym.

1-on-1 sessions with one of our highly qualified trainers. Our trainers have been collectively training for nearly 30 years; our clients have ranged from premier youth athletes to Division 1 and professional athletes.
1-on-1 sessions with our in-house professional Strongman competitor, Joanne Mulligan. If you are interested in learning strongman or competing one day, this is the best place for you! We have all the necessary equipment for strongman athletes.
